Marvin JLS and Rochelle Saturdays are having a baby!!

Marvin Humes from JLS and Rochelle Wiseman from the Saturdays are expecting their first baby next year.

Watch out, Blue Ivy - there’s a new pop baby threatening to steal your crown. (We’re joking, obvs... Blue Ivy is the ultimate pop child.) Marvin Humes from JLS and his wife Rochelle from girl band The Saturdays have announced that they are expecting their first child next year. Yay!!

Marvin shared the good news via JLS’ twitter page yesterday, writing: "Rochelle and I are SOOOOO excited to tell everyone that we are expecting our first baby!!! Its absolutely amazing! Baby is due middle of next year and all is great!! We want to say thank you to everyone for their love and support..it means so much to us!! We are over the moon!"

Rochelle tweeted: "I wanted to be the first to tell you…we have some exciting news to share! Marvin and I could NOT be more thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child mid next year. We have always dreamt of being parents and the news is the best early Christmas present we could have asked for. I know Marvin is going to be a great dad and we’re so excited to start a family."

The couple’s bandmates all jumped on twitter to congratulate the new family, with Oritse writing: "Marv and Roch,a mini #Marvelle is arivving!!! wow 1st in the band to be a Dad! Congrats! much love U guys! thats Real Love right there!" (sic)

Marvelle... we love it.

Marvin might be the first JLS boy to become a papa, but this isn’t the first Saturdays baby: Una gave birth to a little girl named Aoife back in March. Maybe the two little ones can form a group together? They’re bound to have some moves with all that pop royalty in their genes...
